Grades 1-2 Book Club: Mercy Watson to the Rescue by Kate DiCamillo

For the first Grades 1-2 Book Club, affectionately dubbed "Cookies and Book Club" by the kids, we read Mercy Watson to the Rescue, written by Kate DiCamillo and illustrated by Chris Van Dusen.

We answered a bunch of questions on worksheets, using single words, sentences and pictures. We had a fun conversation about the book and all of the things that happened in the story. And ate lots of cookies!

Please join us on Wednesday, June 21 at 3:00 p.m. for the All Ages Book Club for Grades 1 through 7 and up. I'm encouraging participants to bring lots of book recommendations for Summer Reading!
